Hey guys! So sorry I missed the blog yesterday! Better late than never!! I get a lot of questions about what my favorite “drug store” makeup is – and while I don’t have many…. I do have a few!
First off, we have foundation. I like the L’Oreal True Match Foundation (I use the color Buff Beige N4) and that’s what I used to wear for travel. It’s small enough to fit in my makeup bag, it has SPF, if it breaks I’m not losing a ton of money and the coverage is pretty nice. I have dry skin and sometimes I might need a bit more hydration than what it gives, but overall this one would be my favorite from the drug store. I’ve also heard that the L’Oreal True Match Lumi Foundation is nice as well. Another thing I love about it, is that it’s SUPER easy to color match. There should be a chart on the display that you pull out and put against the inside of your wrist. What ever color disappears is the color you match with! Easy!
Next up we have lip liners. I’m really digging the Rimmel London Exaggerate Full Colour Lip Liner. It’s a matte lip liner that I also use as a lipstick by completely filling in my lips after I line them. I do sometimes wear a light gloss over it, but it’s not necessary for the most part.
Finally, lip gloss. NYX has pretty good products and their Butter Gloss isn’t any different. They’re creamy and long lasting and won’t break the bank if you decide you want more than one!
