Hi friends! “Ice Pops” is what we call “Popsicles” and that, right now, is the staple in our house. Our oldest daughter tends to be a bit of a picky eater so it can be difficult for her to get her nutrients in daily. Enter popsicles!
We decided to make her smoothies (that she no longer wants to drink) into ice pops and she can’t get enough! The recipe changes daily depending on what we have on hand, but today I did a simple recipe.
- 1 cup Wild Blueberries
- 1 frozen Banana
- 1 cup Pea Milk (we are vegan so we will almost always use Pea Milk as our non dairy milk in smoothies)
- 3 (give or take) Dates for sweetness
- 1 scoop Greens Powder
- 1/4 avocado for creaminess and healthy fat.
Blend in Vitamix (or any blender), pour into molds and pop in the freezer! We found our molds HERE. We have 2 sets so we have plenty of ice pops for both girls!
Like I said, the recipe will change daily so feel free to add any frozen fruit or maybe a non toxic food coloring to change it up a bit! Let me know how you mix it up!
