It’s that time of the year again.. I’ll spare you the “oh em gee, I can’t believe it” spiel because… we get it. Time flies, amiright? I do want to talk about gift guides though, because gift giving and Christmas are 2 of my favorite things EVER.
Now, our family doesn’t do HUGE gifts on Christmas and we try to stick to a 3 present rule as best we can during the holidays, because we believe that this time of the year shouldn’t JUST be about presents. In keeping with that, we always donate to a charity every year as well as build a shoebox for Operation Christmas Child and Samaritan’s Purse. If you haven’t heard of that, it’s basically getting an old shoe box and filling it with items from toys to hygiene items for a girl or boy who wouldn’t get a Christmas, and taking it to a drop off location for them to send off. You can write them a note and add your picture and also track your box to see where it ends up. Drop off week past, but you can still send them out so get your boxes ready! It’s a really heart warming activity that we hope to continue with our children as they get older.
My first Gift Guide of this season is Stocking Stuffers for her!
- Diptyque Candles : I absolutely love candles and always have them burning in the house. We received a Diptyque candle as a gift a few years ago and I can’t get enough. Plus it’s a Paris born company (which is one of our favorite places to visit) and you can also create your own set.
- Made by Mary : I love dainty jewelry and one with meaning behind it is even better. You can personalize Made by Mary with your babies, dogs, moms or anything else you can think of. Choose from different finishes (I personally only wear silver) and it’s very well made jewelry. You can’t go wrong.
- Christmas Pajamas : Bonus points if they’re matching. I love THESE and have posted about them before, but I also love THESE, THESE and THESE! I’m a sucker for pajamas. It’s a problem.
- Coffee Mug : I used to collect coffee mugs, until it got way out of hand. I’m still a bit obsessed though and sometimes I can’t pass a cute one up! I also love anything with an initial so this mug right here was a no brainer for me and anyone who sees it, loves it too!
- Makeup : Sephora always has great deals and kits for the holidays and this year they even have a little quiz you can take to help you figure out what to buy! You can take that quiz HERE.
- Christmas Slippers : Or really, any slipper in my opinion. I’m a bootie slipper fanatic myself, especially when it’s cold outside. Target is normally my go-to for this and they have a Christmas section with really cute grip socks too!
