Hi friends! I’ve been getting a lot of questions about what foundation I’ve been using lately so I wanted to share that with you on the blog!
- Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation : I love this one because it’s a 24 hour liquid foundation that has a matte finish and buildable coverage. I would absolutely go into the store to find your shade with this one because they have a huge variety and it can get confusing online. Also, no one talks about this but you can get a pump for your bottle so you don’t have to keep pouring out your foundation and possibly wasting it. #PROTIP
- Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk : This one is still buildable but I’ll wear this when I’m having a good skin day and I don’t necessarily want as much coverage.
- Shu Uemura Lightbulb : This one is my “night out” foundation. It’s as close to airbrushing as you’re going to get in a liquid foundation. If you’re going to apply it with a beauty blender/sponge, I highly recommend using a damp sponge (ring the excess water out) and patting it on. The damp beauty blender/sponge will help it to stay clean and not cake-y. Nobody likes cake-y.
- Becca Primer : I love using this primer when I want a more luminous look to my foundation, especially if I’m wearing a matte foundation and I just want a hint of glow.
- Josie Maran Argan Enlightenment Illuminizer : I use this stuff every day. I will mix it with my Double Wear (equal parts – which is usually a half pump of each) and I’ll apply it all over my face and it gives me a nice glow all day.
I’m still using the Honest Beauty Cream Foundation but I find that I like it better when it’s not so cold and my skin isn’t so dry from the weather.
