Hi friends! I’m so excited to share this awesome staycation we recently had at The Hotel at Avalon in Alpharetta, Georgia. The girls and I are usually there once a week for their Little Acorns event, so it was extra special to us since we already spend so much time there.
One of the things I love about The Hotel at Avalon is how conveniently located it is. You don’t ever have to leave to do anything, because everything you would ever need is already within walking distance.
Besides lounging at the pool and having breakfast either in your room, or at South City Kitchen Avalon, there are so many options for food right down the block! Including an Antico’s Pizza and Jeni’s Ice Cream, who also has 5 fantastic vegan flavors so, definitely a no brainer for us!
The Hotel at Avalon really goes above and beyond with their decor and I absolutely felt like we were transported to a different location, when really we were 20 minutes from our home! I loved that.
Don’t fret if you forgot your sunscreen because The Hotel at Avalon has you covered. They have this convenient Sun Bum station with 30 SPF sunscreen and also an aloe cream for after the sun.
Their pool bar is so cute and we were able to get some King of Pops for the girls there too! Big win for them! The hotel has water stations throughout and all of the water is infused with either berries or citrus, which now I’ve adopted at home because who doesn’t love fruit infused water, am I right?
The pool itself has a bit of a zero entry where there are lounge seats that are half emerged in the water, which really works out great in the Atlanta heat of summer and really helps to cool you off while you’re catching some rays.
We are a vegan family so when it came to room service, we were able to get some berries, juice and coffee sent up to our room and then went down to South City Kitchen Avalon for brunch before heading home.
We were so excited to have been able to stay at one of our favorite places and I think it’s safe to say that it will be a go-to for us in the future.
