My BabyList Registry

Hi internet! We’re going strong at 32 weeks pregnant and I’ve been getting some questions from friends about my registry, so I wanted to share my love for BabyList with you!

It’s a free app that you can download (but you don’t have to) and you can literally add ANYTHING to your registry from any website. To me, it’s so much easier than just registering at one place and hoping they have everything you need. With BabyList, you get your own unique link to your registry that you can share with anyone. It can also be made public so anyone can search your name and get your gifts right from there.

With our first pregnancy, I registered at a specific store but then had to register at other stores as well because the first store didn’t have everything I needed. With our second pregnancy I used BabyList and honestly will ALWAYS use BabyList for every pregnancy. Yes, I said “every”. LOL

With this being our third and of the same gender, I don’t really NEED much – but here are some examples of what we did register for and I hope to spark some inspiration for your registry!

  1. Willow Pump : I’ve gone through my fair share of breast pumps, but this one is by far the easiest!
  2. Swaddle Blankets : We are a swaddling family so we will definitely be getting good use out of these.
  3. Car Seat : This goes without saying. I’m not a fan of the bucket car seats (I cringe when I see other people bringing their buckets into stores or just carrying them around) so I go for the “forever” kind that will grow with your baby and you don’t have to switch them out at all.
  4. Cozy Baby Blankets for UNICEF : I love how you can use BabyList to give to others as well. UNICEF has lots of options for gifting and this particular one is a gift of 3 baby blankets for $27.
  5. Crib : I’ve always gone with white furniture for our babies and this one is no exception. We’re not expecting anyone to buy us a crib, but it’s on the list so it’s something we remember to buy. We are co sleepers for the first year, so it’s not a huge necessity for us right away.
  6. Newborn Baby Kit for UNICEF : Another great gift through UNICEF are these great newborn kits to help welcome two babies by giving them the best start in life. ($26)
  7. Baby Sling : I love wearing my babies! I’d still do it if I could, but they wouldn’t sit still for me at this point! However, having a wrap or a side sling is a MUST.
  8. Owlet Baby Sock Monitor : This is one of the best inventions ever. It’s a baby sock that monitors your baby’s heart rate and oxygen levels and you can see it right from your phone. This is perfect for a first time mommy and those of us that just watch the baby to make sure they’re breathing, instead of sleeping while they sleep.

There you have it!

Crystal
