Can someone explain to me how it’s already Easter? Didn’t we just celebrate Valentine’s Day??? I swear after I became a mom time just seems to be flying by way faster than when I was in my 20’s. Haha!
Celebrating any and every holiday is fun for me and of course, Easter is no exception! We love hiding eggs the night before and watching the girls search for them in the morning. This year will be extra special because our youngest is old enough now to kind of get it and it’ll be so much fun watching her get excited!
As you probably already know, we are a relatively sugar-free family, but I will allow a few pieces of candy for the holidays. Being vegan it’s sometimes difficult to find vegan candy that’s also gluten-free, so I wanted to share some ideas for Easter baskets this year with those options!
Vegan Easter Candy
I’ve found that the brand Yum Earth has lots of vegan options that are also gluten-free, however, they can be hard to find sometimes unless you start searching way before Easter. They also have cute shapes for each holiday and these bunny gummies are adorable!
Smart Sweets also has fun vegan and gluten-free options and I can usually find them in more places, not to mention the fact that it’s 92% lower in sugar which is a win for me.
Easter Baskets
I’m a big fan of Pottery Barn Kids for pretty much anything, and they have really cute Easter basket options every year. I also can’t resist a cute monogram so they get me every time! I’m thinking we might keep these forever though.
Target also has some good pre-made options if you’re strapped for time. They don’t have a fully vegan basket though, which is why I make my own, but I found some really cute ones that I’ll link below!
Easter Basket Extras
I usually don’t go overboard with presents, but I do like to give fun and useful gifts for any occasion. Here are some ideas and some of the gifts that I’m getting for our girls this Easter!
What are your go-to’s for Easter baskets??
